If you are tired of snacking on expensive granola bars, try my Pecan Parmesan. I eat it by the spoonful throughout the day! You can also add it to a salad for a delicious and nutritious topping. The nutritional yeast in this recipe is a complete protein, containing all nine essential amino acids and half an ounce of nutritional yeast provides 8 grams of protein.

Ingredients:
1 cup pecan halves, toasted
1 ½ tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 pinches fine grain sea salt
Directions:
Place the toasted pecans in a food processor and pulse until they are the size of a small pea.
Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor and pulse a few more times and voila!
