Sometimes it’s nice to have a basic fruit smoothie in your repertoire! My son Michael LOVES this one because it tastes like a strawberry shake. We follow the recipe and use milk but unsweetened almond milk works too!

Yields: One 16-ounce or two 8-ounce servings
Ingredients
1 medium sized ripe banana
1 heaped cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Place the ingredients in a blender and voila! If you opt for fresh strawberries, I suggest that you add some ice. I used frozen strawberries.
