Good morning everyone! I hope that you all had a nice week. Today’s Snippets include some “touchy feely” topics like happiness and curiosity as well as factual items on magnesium and finding solid health information. I hope there is something that speaks to you today! Did you know that there are two types of happiness AND 2 types of curiosity? If I have piqued your interest here, that’s your “deprivation curiosity” at work! 😉
I enjoy taking quizzes but I especially loved how the results were presented here. The pie chart results will display your tendency toward either “hedonic” well-being, focused on short-term pleasure and avoiding pain or “eudaemonic” well-being which displays a deeper sense of fulfillment.
The Best Advice I Have Heard on How To Be Happy
Sometimes I can find “happiness” articles to be trite and shallow and you may consider this one to fall into that category. However, I would challenge you to find one small way to improve your happiness quotient. This article has some interesting ideas and insights. I recently noticed that listening to the news while driving puts me in a bad mood so I shifted to my Spotify playlists instead. Rather than scowling while I drive, I am singing!
